MITS INDIA University formerly named Manipal Institute of Education started in 2001 offering courses principally focusing on Teacher Training Diploma programs, business management and English Language Diploma. By 2011 the University had expanded to more than 1500 students spread out in its campuses. The enrollment keeps increasing as a result of programs and courses offered with a strong positive reputation, sound market targeting and robust competitive edge. To date, there are more than 2000 students studying at MITS University. To date, MITS has grown to a mature academic with an excellent academic reputation and the most prestigious Private Higher Education University in Karnataka with a comprehensive program portfolio. There are four faculties, namely, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Education and Faculty of Health and Science. In the near future, another campus in A.P is to be extended in widening MITS’s provision.
